Christian Shelter in need of supplies

SALISBURY, Md. – The Christian Shelter needs your help.

For the next 5 weeks, their walk-in cooler is out of commission. The shelter had a leak a little while ago and now their floor is being repaired, however, the shelter is taking donations to keep food on the table.

We spoke with Anthony Dickerson at the Shelter, who says any bit of help will be of great service. “If there’s any restaurants or people that can prepare food for us, maybe have leftover sandwiches or meals, so for something we can just warm up and serve our guests, for 5 weeks it’s going to be challenging,” he says.

The shelter is in need of items like lunch meat, crackers, towels, and washcloths. To donate you can call the facility or drop off your goods in person.
