Cape Henlopen Vikings 2023 Season Preview

LEWES, Del.– The Vikings were a team on a mission last year with some amazing talent as they finished the season on a 20 game winning streak culminating in a state title.

They finished with an overall record of 16-2 and most importantly bringing home their second title in four years. Now a new season is right around the corner, some guys from last years squad are back but they also have some new faces like Woodbridge transfer Lextyn Wescott at third base.  
 

However some key players from last years squad are gone like Josh Reinhold and Austin Rhue, and Head Coach Ben Evick tells us this roster has done a good job of filling in those shoes.

Cape Henlopen opens up their regular season on the road against Caesar Rodney on Thursday March 23.
