BVSPCA touts Saint Patrick’s weekend promotion on large dog adoptions

GEORGETOWN, Del. – A large dog could be yours for just $17 between now and Sunday thanks to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, who are using the weekend to promote animals that they say are often overlooked by those looking to adopt.

The $17 adoption fee will go towards making sure the animals have all they need to thrive in their forever homes.

“The 17 dollars covers everything the normal adoption covers; microchipping, the spay, and neuter, vaccines, a wellness visit follow up at one of our clinics,’ said BVSPCA Communications Director Sara Smith.

Smith says those interested can visit the group’s Georgetown Campus.
