Braddah Barney’s moves shop to Berlin

BERLIN, Md. – A local favorite is on the move.

Braddah Barney’s is moving from West Ocean City into what used to be the Globe on Main Street in Berlin. Owner Jon Lane says he’s changing a few things. Now the spot will specialize in southern-style cuisine, including barbecue. The Asian fusion that Lane served in west Ocean City will be served as a special in Berlin. And seating has ballooned from just 24 guests at a time to up to 200 in the new location, complete with two bars and a tiki bar.

Lane says he’s happy to be back at his old stomping grounds. “I grew up in the Berlin area so it feels like I’m right at home in town. This is a historical building it just feels like a very special place to be so in very happy to be here,” says Owner, Jon Lane.

Lane says they’ll be serving brunch on Sundays with live music and they’re gearing up for a Saint Patty’s day party. Lane says he hopes the community comes out and joins in on the fun.
