Local printing company sets eyes on expansion with new land

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Printing and design company Plak That recently announced that they’ll soon be moving to their dream shop after purchasing new land in Berlin.

Plak That has been in its current space since 2013, offering a variety of services from UV Flatbed Printing to Laser Cutting/Engraving.

Owner Wyatt Harrison tells us the expansion comes as they’ve outgrown the OC location.

We’re told that’s due to a massive growth in business, especially for commercial orders.

Harrison tells 47ABC the new facility will be 3 times the size of the current one which will allow them more space to meet demand. “More room and more space to ease operations so we won’t be on top of each other all the time. We also wanted to invest in some other machines and bring some other services to the area,” Harrison said.

Harrison adds that this expansion is still in the beginning stages, so there’s no set timeline for construction.

There’s over two acres of land, so the company is also looking to work with the town of Berlin on other business opportunities to add to the space.
