UPDATE: Victims in fatal Lewes crash identified
12/13 UPDATE: Police have released the identity of the second victim in this crash.
The victim has been identified as 104-year-old Irma Koch of Lewes.

12/12 UPDATE: Police have identified the victim in this crash as 73-year-old Carol Greblunas.
In addition, police say a second victim, a 104-year-old Lewes woman, died at an area hospital on Sunday from injuries sustained in the crash. Identification is pending notification of next of kin.

LEWES, Del. – A Lewes woman lost her life after being involved in a crash Saturday afternoon.
Delaware State Police say around 3:38 p.m., a Subaru Outback was approaching a sharp curve on Minos Conaway Road. At the same time, a Lexus RX coming from the opposite direction was coming up on the same curve. The two vehicles collided in a near head-on collision.
The driver of the Subaru, a 75-year-old Lewes man, a 104-year-old Lewes woman in the front passenger seat, and a 73-year-old Lewes woman in the backset were all wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. However, the woman in the back seat died while being treated for injuries at the hospital. Her identification is pending notification next of kin.
The driver of the Lexus, a 69-year-old Lewes man, and a 68-year-old Lewes woman in the front passenger seat were also wearing their seatbelts during the crash. Both were taken to a local hospital for serious injuries.
The roadway was closed for about three and a half hours as the scene was investigated and cleared. Delaware State Police are still investigating the crash. Anyone who may have witnessed it is asked to contact Senior Corporal R. Albert at (302) 703-3266.
