Dreamfest 2023 coming to Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Some good news for Ocean City, the first ever Dream Fest is coming for Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.

It will take place at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center. It’s a 3-day music festival for you to get your groove on and celebrate dr. King’s accomplishments. Special guests include Claudette King, Thomas McClary’s Commodores Experience, and The Spinners.

47 ABC spoke with an Ocean City official who says it’s important to bring the community together. “Ocean City is a good neighbor. We want to be a part of the solution not a part of the problem and I think that bringing our community together is vitality important,” says Tom Perlozzo, the Director of Tourism and Business Development in Ocean City.

The Director says they do expect this to be an annual event. The festival will take place from January 13th through the 15th. For more information on the 3-day fun, click here.
