Crash in Berlin sends three to the hospital
BERLIN, Md. – Berlin Police are investigating a serious crash that happened on Route 50.
Police say they were dispatched to Route 818 and Route 50 for a crash involving two vehicles. One vehicle was on fire, police say. A GMC truck with a camper trailer attached was crossing Route 50, when it collided with a Ford F-150, according to police. Investigators say the GMC went up in flames after the impact.
The 59-year-old man of Shirely, N.Y. who was driving the GMC was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, say police. A 63-year-old female passenger, also of Shirely, N.Y., was taken to TidalHealth, according to police.
The driver of the F-150 was identified as a 43-year-old Delmar, Del. man. Police say he was also taken to TidalHealth. Everyone was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
