Jimmy Charles performs in Ocean City to raise money for Diakonia Shetler, Toys for Tots

OCEAN CITY, Md- Country Music Star and Eastern Shore native Jimmy Charles held a charity concert in Ocean City Saturday, hoping to raise funds for the Diakonia Shelter and Toys for Tots in Salisbury.

His “I Am Not Alone” tour has raised over 70 thousand dollars for various causes since being started by Charles and his wife, for various causes.
Charles tells 47ABC he’s thrilled to help out these organizations right here on the Eastern Shore this holiday season.

“We are looking to fill the trailer,  so we talked with toys for tots and they heard such great things they are bringing a trailer to make sure no toy gets left behind, we are also collecting food pantry items and toiletries for Diakonia, we love doing things this time of year for our hometown community it just makes it that much better,” Charles said.

The event runs from 5 pm to 8 pm Saturday Bourbon Street on the Beach in Ocean City.
