Emily’s Produce hosts Pumpkin Palooza for Halloween
CAMBRIDGE, Md- Emily’s Produce in Cambridge celebrated Halloween and the end of the pumpkin growing season with a Pumpkin Palooza fall fest, filled with food games, mazes, and an all-you-can-carry-for-10-dollar pumpkin deal, hoping to make sure all their pumpkins find a home.
Visitors pushed the limits of what they could hold, piling the pumpkins high while shopping locally at vendors and at the produce stand’s farmer market.
The event also had a costume contest for children ages 5 to 12 and highlighted local beers from area breweries.
Owner Kelly Jackon says they are thrilled that they can use their space for community events like these, and get people to shop local while they do it.
“We are very proud to have a venue space that’s all about family and adults can come kids can come everyone has fun together dressing up and the play area so we are really happy to provide that space,” Jackson said.
Kelly Jackson says the market will remain open through November, and they look forward to having more events and offering their thanksgiving menu items.
