Delaware State Police investigating shots fired in Bridgeville

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting in the Coverdale area Monday night.

Police say on the morning on October 25th, troopers responded to the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive for a reported shooting. Investigators found that the night before, between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., an unknown suspect fired multiple shots in the area.

A residence and unoccupied vehicle were damaged by the gunfire, police say. A 25-year-old woman and 5-year-old juvenile were inside the home at the time of the shooting, police say. No injuries were reported.
