Hickman takes over helm with Pocomoke Field Hockey
POCOMOKE, Md. – Kasey Hickman has taken the reins of Pocomoke field hockey and hopes to continue their championship tradition.
Hickman was a member of Pocomoke field hockey as a player under legendary coach Susan Pusey from 2002-05. She won three state championships in her time in a Warriors uniform.
She spent the past three years on the staff of Brandi Castaneda, winning another state championship last fall.
The first game of the Hickman era did not turn out the way Pocomoke wanted, as Washington won the season opener against the Warriors 2-1.
