Delmar falls to Wilmington Friends in season opener
DELMAR, Del.– The Delmar Wildcats fell to the Wilmington Friends in a final score of 31-6 on Friday night.
Wilmington struck first but Delmar’s Jalen Johnson would take it over 50 yards for the Wildcat’s only TD of the game.
Friend’s QB Robert Tattersall would pick up a rushing touchdown of his own to put the Quakers back up on top. The Quakers would bust the game wide open in the 2nd half after a rushing TD by Andrew McKenzie, and a receiving TD by Jaden Willie.
