Henlopen Football Preview: Cape Henlopen Vikings

LEWES, Del. – Cape Henlopen football has no where to go but up in 2022.

The Vikings had high expectations going into last season, but just couldn’t live up to them going 1-9 in the final season for head coach JD Maull.

Cape fought hard in many of their games last season, but they clearly were not ready for the transition to playing in the 3A.

Mike Frederick now steps in as the new head man in Lewes and with him he’s brought a whole new coaching staff, a new playbook, and revamped formations.

This off season the Vikings have been working on developing chemistry and mastering the new game plan so Frederick’s first season can be a step in the right direction.
