Wanted Laurel man found and arrested in Lewes

LEWES, Del. – A Laurel man wanted on felony charges has been located and arrested, according to Delaware State Police. 51-year-old Danny Adkins is a registered sex offender, and had been wanted by police since early June.

On July 16th, Delaware State Police say a concerned citizen observed Adkins in the Lockwood Development in Lewes. Troopers responded to the 20th block of Foxwood Court, where they found Adkins.

Adkins was taken into custody without incident and taken to Troop 7. He was charged with several felonies, and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court #3. Adkins is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $184,000 cash bond.
