Ocean City Art League seeking volunteers to wrap up Summer
OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Art League needs your help, the organization is seeking volunteers to help with some upcoming events.
Some of those volunteer duties will help with information areas throughout the end of the summer. The events you’ll be able to join in on are their monthly first Friday Art parties, ArtX and the Sand Castle Tour. Organization leaders say it’s more than you just filling time, there are some social benefits that come with volunteering.
“Volunteers gain so much from being part of the art league because they make social connections, they meet people here while they’re volunteering. They’re supporting a good cause, they’re helping whether its the kids in camp or with one of our events,” says Rina Thaler, Director of the Art League.
