AP calls MD Governor Democratic Primary for Wes Moore


MARYLAND,- The Associated Press has called declared Wes Moore the winner of the Maryland Democratic Primary.

Moore currently has 169,961 votes standing at 33.77%  from unofficial results.

Former DNC Chair Tom Perez came in 2nd with 123,650 with 28.34% and conceded Saturday.

In a statement, Perez said “I congratulate Wes Moore and Aruna Miller on their hard-fought victory. Now is the time for us to unite, and I look forward to aggressively working with them to flip Maryland blue this November.
