Sussex Academy launches new partnership for their sports teams
Georgetown, Del. – Sussex Academy just announced a new partnership that’ll give back to student-athletes.
That partnership is with all-pro team sports and Under Armour Team Sports. It will provide the school sports team uniforms and spirit wear items. Officials say having good uniforms carries over from having a good academic program. 47 ABC had a chance to speak with the school’s new director of students and athletes, Matt Keen to get a better understanding of what this partnership means.
“Providing Sussex Academy with an opportunity to have high-level uniforms merchandise and really ya know make it an appealing place to be a student-athlete…If you want an elite level of education and you want a place where athletics is going to be taken seriously and supported Sussex academy is a great place for them,” says Matt Keen, Dean of Students and Athletics for Sussex Academy.
Keen also says even if you’re not a student-athlete you too will have access to the spirit wear and merchandise through the school store.
