Delmarva Big Band kicks off Friday
SALISBURY, Md. – Big Band kicks off this Friday.
Residents can gather outside and enjoy Delmarva’s Big Band orchestra. The band will perform their ensemble with some of the region’s professional musicians and educators. Officials say it will be filled with fun and a good time to enjoy the weather with family and friends. To enjoy the fun, just bring your own lawn chair. Local food vendors will also be on the scene for everyone to try.
“People should come out and just enjoy open air activity, you get to see your friends and your neighbors and just enjoy a free art experience in the heart of downtown Salisbury, along our beautiful riverwalk, we always get to enjoy beautiful sunsets out there,” says Jamie Heater, Executive Director for Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District.
The concert will be in Salisbury at the Riverwalk Amphitheater, the event will be from 5PM to 8PM. You can find more information about the concert by checking out their website. Concerts will happen every Friday through the end of September, except on the days of third Friday.
