Aluma signs free agent deal with Memphis Grizzlies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Decatur alum and Virginia Tech Hokies basketball stare Keve Aluma has caught on with an NBA organization.

Aluma, a 6-9 forward, did not hear his name during the NBA draft Thursday night. The Grizzlies decided they liked what they saw, and inked him to a deal.

Aluma was named to the All-ACC second team in 2021 and 2022, as well as earning All-ACC first team honors for the conference tournament this spring.

The Virginia Tech senior led the team in scoring for the second straight season in 2022.
