DSP attempting to identify shoplifters

LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two shoplifting suspects.

At around 8:30 p.m. Monday, troopers say an unknown male subject and unknown female subject walked in to the Lewes Lowes and stole a large amount of merchandise without paying. The suspects then reportedly got into a black Chevrolet Cruze in the parking lot and were last seen heading towards Plantation Road. No vehicle registration information is available, and their destination is unknown.

The male suspect is described as approximately 5’11” tall, approximately 235 pounds, with a larger build. He is also missing the lower portion of his right arm. The female suspect is described as approximately 5’10”, approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and an average build.

Police say it is believed that both suspects may be involved in similar shoplifting incidents throughout the state.
