Woman with active warrants arrested in traffic stop

SELBYVILLE, Del. — 38-year-old Tara Madden of Selbyville has been arrested following a traffic stop on Thursday.

Just before 4 PM, an officer with the Greenwood Police Department saw a Chevy Cruze traveling southbound on Sussex Highway in the area of Market Street. Madden, the operator of the vehicle failed to stop at a red light and police issued a traffic stop. A computer check was conducted which revealed 4 active warrants from Madden’s arrest. Officials say the warrants stem from numerous incidents that occurred throughout March and April in the Frankford, Millville, and Millsboro areas.

Madden was taken into custody and released on a $4,500 unsecured bond.
