Time’s ticking for Snow Hill residents to get their absentee ballots

SNOW HILL, Md.- The deadline to get your absentee ballot for the local general elections is almost here.

Residents can still request an absentee ballot up til April 22nd at 4:30 p.m.

Election day is on May 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the polling will take place at the Train Station on Belt Street.Snow Hill voters will soon be choosing a new mayor and an Eastern District Council member.

When 47ABC spoke with Snow Hill’s Deputy Town Manager, she said it’s important that town voters get out to vote.

“I don’t think that we can really accomplish anything positive and worthwhile in any world if we don’t have democracy alive and well,” Margot Resto, the Deputy Town Manager, said. “And, exercising your right to vote is absolutely essential, I invite all of our citizens to please come and make your voice heard.”
