SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Zoo is asking for the public’s help in naming their new baby bears.

Last week, Zoo officials announced the birth of twin boys to Chaska, the zoo’s Andean bear. Now that the world has met these two, they are asking for help in choosing the perfect names.

For a $5 donation to the Salisbury Zoo, you can vote on your favorite name(s) for the bear cubs. Currently in the running are the following names:

  • Inti: means “Sun”
  • Raymi: means “Celebration”
  • Asiri: means “Smile”
  • Kuna: means “To Give”

Each vote is a $5 donation to the Salisbury Zoo and is tax-deductible. You can vote as many times as you would like, and the winning names will be revealed on April 23rd.
