Identities released in fatal police-involved shooting in Somerset County.

WESTOVER, Md. – Officials have released the names of the deceased subject and officers involved in Monday’s fatal police-involved shooting in Somerset County.

The decedent has been identified as 24-year-old William Brink of Salisbury.

The officers have been identified as:

• Corporal Jason Dykes – Maryland State Trooper, 17-year veteran currently assigned to the Criminal Enforcement Division
• Sergeant Kevin Goepfert – Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, 13-year veteran currently assigned to the Patrol Division
• Deputy First Class Anthony Jackson – Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, 3-year veteran currently assigned to the patrol division.

The incident remains under investigation.
