WiHi falls to Douglass in the 2A state semifinals

SILVER SPRING, Md.– Douglass beat WiHi in a final score of 66-48 in the 2A state semifinals on Wednesday night.

WiHi and Douglass would keep the game close after the 1st quarter with the score being 16-19. Douglass would go into halftime with a commanding 44-28 lead over the Tribe. WiHi would not be able to close the gap with Douglass as they would find themselves down 56-36 after the 3rd quarter.

Jaylin Dashiell-Andrews led the Tribe in scoring with 12 points, while Mark Martin came off the bench with 9 points.
