UPDATE: One killed, another injured in Salisbury crash

SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County Sheriff’s Deputies have confirmed that Thursday morning’s crash in Salisbury was fatal.

At around 8:30 a.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Naylor Mill Road and Brick Kiln Road for a traffic crash with reported injuries and entrapment. On arrival, deputies and Fire/EMS crews found two vehicles rolled over.

One of the drivers, identified as 60-year-old Michelle Barkley, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to TidalHealth for treatment. There were no passengers.

Police say at this time, alcohol does not appear to be a factor. The area was closed for approximately three hours while the crash was investigated.
