Bucs upset top-ranked Queen Anne’s in regional semis

CENTREVILLE, Md. – Kent Island fell to Queen Anne’s twice in the regular season, but got their revenge Tuesday evening, 61-55.

Queen Anne’s held a slim lead at halftime, but the full-court press by Kent Island rattled the Lions in the third quarter. The Bucs won the quarter, 19-10, and led by five heading into the final period.

The Lions tied things up late, but the Bucs pulled away in the final minute and moved on to the Regional Final. Kent Island will play at Parkside Thursday evening for a spot in the MPSSAA State Quarterfinals.
