SEAFORD, Del. – The two children killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon have been identified by Delaware State Police. Police say the two victims were 7-year-old Nathan Galsgow and 14-year-old Hope Glasgow of Seaford.

Police say a 53-year-old Seaford man was driving a 2009 Nissan Altima southbound on Atlanta Road. At the same time, a 36-year-old Seaford woman was driving a 2018 Kia Soul northbound on the same road. That’s when the driver of the Nissan crossed the double solid yellow line and hit the Kia head-on in the northbound lane, according to police.

The driver of the Nissan was wearing a seatbelt, and airlifted to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Meanwhile, the driver of the Kia, also wearing a seatbelt, was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

To help the family out with funeral costs and medical bills, friends and family created a gofundme link.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. Ryan Albert at (302) 703-3266. Information can also be provided to Delaware Crime Stoppers by calling 1 (800) TIP-3333.
