Officials are happy with their cleanup efforts after Friday’s Nor’easter

WICOMICO CO., Md. — Officials are talking about clean up after the big Nor’easter Delmarva had on Friday.

4 ABC spoke with Lee Outen of the Wicomico Roads Department and he says they are happy with their efforts to clean up the roadways. Outen tell us most roads are clear, with just a few icy spots left. The county has addressed both side roads and main streets at the same time. Outen says during the process, officials also went through all the subdivisions. On Sunday, the department went through places they may have missed, and on Monday they continued the clean up.

“We’re out on the main roads today, going through those we’re trying to knock off the spots where snow may have accumulated – icy or drifted areas,” Outen says.

The department reminds residents that when you clear out your driveway be sure to push snow to the left.  Officials say the clean up was quicker this storm because a majority of it happened throughout the night.
