The Eagles advance to state title game as they take down Dover

SMYRNA, Del.– The Smyrna Eagles beat the Dover Senators in a final score of 46-21 on Friday night.

The Eagles came out strong as Wayne Knight would score the first touchdown of the game off of a 12 yard run. Smyrna would convert the 2 point conversion to go up 8-0.

After converting a huge 4th and 9, Smyrna would strike again as Cameron Edge would find Yamir Knight in the back of the end zone for the score. Dover would respond on the next drive as Nahseem Cosme would connect with Sir William Bauer wide open for their first score of the game.

The Eagles would keep pouring it on as Edge would find Devin DeMoe for another Smyrna touchdown. Dover would try to make a comeback in the 2nd half but it would not be enough.
