Woodrow “Woody” Dickerson

LEWES, Del. – A man reported missing at the beginning of October has been found, according to Delaware State Police.

46-year-old Woodrow Dickerson was located on Wednesday. He had been missing since October 7th. Trish, Dickerson’s wife, told 47ABC that the couple had had a normal morning, saying their goodbyes before work. When Trish returned home that afternoon, she says she noticed Dickerson’s truck was gone, which was unusual. She adds that he had left a note saying his final goodbyes.

Police issued a Gold Alert shortly after Dickerson was reported missing. They followed leads at the last locations he had been reported seen. Meanwhile, Trish says she and loved ones were driving around the area for hours looking for Woody.

Delaware State Police have now canceled the Gold Alert issued for Dickerson. Details about Dickerson’s well-being and his whereabouts between October 7th and December 8th remain limited at this time.
