Delaware State Police investigate multiple school shooting threats
DELAWARE – Delaware State Police say they are keeping track of multiple school shooting threats shared on social media over the past few weeks.
Police say numerous posts and/0r images have been shared nationwide, which has had an effect on various schools around the country.
Delaware State Police say the threats reported to First State law enforcement agencies have been investigated and deemed non-credible. At this time, state police say they have no intelligence indicating any credible threat to Delaware schools. However, police add that the absence of intelligence does not mean the absence of a threat.
Delaware State Police have not released any information about where those threats were made at this time. Police are asking anyone who may have information on suspicious activity to call 911 or the Delaware Anti-Terrorism Tip Line at 1-800-FORCE-12.
