DOVER, Del. – A drug investigation led to multiple arrests in Dover Wednesday afternoon.

Dover Police and Delaware Probation and Parole say they were checking a home in the 200 block of Sheldrake Circle Wednesday evening after determining that 23-year-old Tyrese Tilghman-Beson was on probation and residing at the home. During the check, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana inside the home, and made contact with Tilghman-Benson and three other individuals, identified as 23-year-old Temple Jefferson, 19-year-old William Johnson, and 20-year-old Breauna Crosby.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the home, discovering that Johnson and Crosby were in possession of 212.2 grams of marijuana. Jefferson was reportedly found hiding in a bathroom and was in possession of 249 doses of MDMA.

Tilghman-Benson was released on a criminal summons for marijuana possession.

Jefferson was charged with possession of MDMA, possession with intent to deliver MDMA, and drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $40,000 cash bail.
