DART to offer free rides to Veterans on Veteran’s Day

DELAWARE – DART has announced it will offer free rides to Veterans in honor of Veterans Day.

On Thursday, November 11th, all statewide bus services will offer free rides to Veterans. Veterans displaying a Veteran’s ID card (which would also cover spouses and partners) or DD 214 can ride for free all day on all DART bus services.

“In honor of Veterans Day, DART is happy to once again offer free bus rides to the men and women who proudly serve our country in the military and to Veterans who have served, in recognition of their dedication and sacrifice,” said Delaware Transit Corporation’s CEO John Sisson.
