Woodbridge stays undefeated as they take down Lake Forest

Woodbridge now 8-0

WOODBRIDGE, Del.– Woodbridge took down Lake Forest 22-14 on Friday night.

Lake Forest would come out of the gate and strike first as QB Jonathan Tyndall would connect with Jalen Morris to put the Spartans up 7-0. Later on Lake would run a flea flicker as Morris passed to Johnson Oakley to extend the lead to 14-0.

Woodbridge woke up as running back Kenny Newton would take it up the middle for 6. They would covert the two point conversion to put the Raiders within 6. Newton would later on connect with TE Noah Matthews, Newton would convert the two point conversion to give the Raiders their first lead of the night.

With seconds left in the first half, QB Seth Smart found Colin Hastings in the corner of the endzone for 6 and gave the Raiders an 8 point lead going into the half.

With seconds left in the 4th Lake Forest would be on the goal line and Woodbridge would stuff them at the line to hold the lead and take the win.
