Eagles knot score with :05 seconds in regulation

SNOW HILL, Md- The Queen Anne’s and Snow Hill’s girls soccer game on Tuesday ended in a 2-2 tie after two overtimes.

Tied at one at the half, the Lions would score the go-ahead goal on a great cross by Jess Wright (2 assists) and conversion by Karlie Hickson.

In the final moments of regulation, a long pass would go to Snow Hill’s Lillee Covington–who would bury the shot with :05 seconds left on the clock.

Both teams would have chances to win in both OTs, but the game would end in a 2-2 tie.

Ella Pinder (QA) and Ashley Haueisen (Snow Hill) also netted goals in the game.
