Mardela man arrested for selling drugs from residence

MARDELA SPRINGS, Md. – A Wicomico County man is behind bars following a drug investigation.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation involving 52-year-old Lowell Todd selling cocaine, methamphetamine, and oxycodone in Wicomico County. Investigators authorized a search and seizure warrant for Todd’s residence in the 7000 block of Todd Lane in Mardela Springs, which was executed on August 23rd after Todd was seen leaving the residence in his vehicle.

Officers found 8.08 grams of methamphetamine, 15.10 grams of cocaine, and oxycodone in Todd’s possession. He was subsequently placed under arrest, and officers searched the residence, locating an additional 13 bags of cocaine and 13 bags of methamphetamine packaged for sales and indicative of the street level sale and trade of controlled dangerous substances. Detectives also located packaging material, a digital scale, a total of 29.44 grams of methamphetamine, and 33.67 grams of cocaine.

An additional search and seizure warrant was executed in the 9000 block of Athol Road as a part of this investigation. Prior to the execution of the search warrants, officers seized an additional 10.81 grams of cocaine and 3.82 grams of methamphetamine from Todd.

Todd was held without bond on a list of drug charges stemming from this investigation. We’re told Todd will face additional charges in the future as part of this investigation.
