Wicomico Goes Purple to host A Night of Hope

SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico Goes Purple has announced “A Night of Hope” to be held later this month.

Wicomico Goes Purple aims to start conversations around the dangers of substance misuse and support those on their journeys through addiction. This program will include music, prayer and scripture read by clergy from throughout the county. Testimonials from those whose lives have been impacted by addiction will be shared that evening before the event concludes with a candlelight vigil.

A Night of Hope will be held Thursday, September 30th, at 6 p.m., at the Salisbury Riverwalk Amphiteater. In the case of inclement weather, the event will move to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, located at 115 St. Peter’s Street, off of the Downtown Plaza.
