Wicomico Co. reaches 200 COVID-19 deaths

WICOMICO CO., Md. – The Wicomico County Health Department says the county has now reached 200 COVID-19 related deaths since the start of the pandemic.

As of Friday morning, the county has had 72 new confirmed cases, with a 7-day positivity rate currently at 12.34%. This is compared to the statewide positivity rate of 4.28%.

We’re told TidalHealth has a total of 45 patients with COVID-19 at this time.

Wicomico County has had a total of 9,961 cases, 9,121 of which have made a full recovery.
