Pocomoke teen pleads guilty to shooting, killing Va. man in 2020
POCOMOKE, Md. – A teenager will be sentenced in December after the State’s Attorney for Worcester County says he entered a guilty plea earlier this month.
Marion Maddox was accused of shooting and killing 28-year-old Deavon Davis of Virginia in August of 2020. Maddox was 18 at the time of the shooting and police say he ran towards Davis, shot multiple times, then fled on foot.
Kristin Heiser, the State’s Attorney for Worcester County, said Maddox entered a guilty plea to first degree murder on September 3rd and will be sentenced on December 3rd.
