SnowHill Announces New Town Manager

SNOW HILL,MD-  The town of Snow Hill is announcing Rick Pollit Jr has been tapped to manage the town’s finances and get work started on new infrastructure improvements.

Mayor Jenn Jewels says they’ve received federal cares dollars, and money from the bipartisan infrastructure bill, with money she believes, will go towards implementing new wastewater treatment plants, upgraded pipes, and new sewage systems.

She believes Pollit Jr is the man to do it.

“He can really hit the ground running when he starts with us given his history as a city manager he comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge on working on infrastructure and working on economic development,” she said.

Mayor Jewel says Snow Hill is planning on investing money into its downtown and creating more mixed-used space; with storefronts and apartments sitting above them.

The Mayor says their new town manager is eager to get started on when he takes the helm on September 8th.
