Police working to identify Lewes burglary suspect

LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a subject wanted for burglary.

We’re told the incident took place just after midnight on August 19th, at the Uncle Willies BP Gas Station located at 17581 Coastal Highway in Lewes. Police say the suspect broke into the business and stole merchandise before fleeing the area.

The suspect is described as a male wearing camo shorts, yellow hooded sweatshirt, and black sneakers. He was traveling in a silver or gray colored Cadillac Deville.
