NCALL brings workshop to help single moms find important resources

DELAWARE – The National Council on Agriculture Life and Labor Research Fund Inc. (NCALL) is helping single mothers achieve their dreams with a new financial empowerment workshop, called ‘A New Vision – Financial Empowerment Workshops for Single Moms. We’re told, the program is supported in part by Fund for Women at the Delaware Community Foundation.

It’s an interactive program which will give practical tools, resources, and a solid foundation to single mothers to help them reach their financial goals. A program administrator tells us, they will be discussing topics such as meal planning, couponing, student loans, goal setting, vision boarding, and much more.

They say they want to tap into this market of single moms and help them with challenges they face financially. “To really say okay, this is where I wanna be, these are the steps I need to take to get there and I’m going to have someone standing by me to walk me through these steps to get to my long term goal,” says Camille Moman, Consumer Service Administrator at NCALL.

Moman also tells us, NCALL will host one hour information sessions at one p.m. and six p.m. on Wednesdays in August. Single mothers who attend of the freedom to ask about any topics they would like to know more about.
