Jeep Week features off-road course in Pittsville

PITTSVILLE, MD- This Year’s Jeep Week is underway here on the Eastern Shore and those looking for 4×4 fun are flocking to off-road courses across Delmarva.

Today’s big attraction was held at an off-roading course in Pittsville it’s specially built to give even the toughest off-roading builds a worthy challenge.

All different the variety of the different jeeps with all their modifications came out to attempt to navigate the course.

Drivers tell us half the fun is building the cars to handle the course; shopping for the parts and putting them together for their offroad builds.

They say going through the course and hopefully getting to the end if they can make it is the reward for all the hard work.

Event-goers told 47ABC they came down to the course because it’s safe and because there’s nothing like it near them.

“It’s a great opportunity we don’t have places like where we are from that are this cool they have a controlled environment with spotters to keep it safe and there’s always someone on sight,” event participant Jovan Summer.

Summer told 47ABC his build was over a year in the making, and he will definitely be back next year.
