Dover Man Shot In Shoulder

DOVER, DE-  The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting early Sunday morning that left one man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Police say they responded to Stevenson Drive in the Manchester Square community at approximately 3:38 a.m. where they found a 26-year-old man bleeding from his shoulder. The victim told officers that he was standing outside when an unknown black male approached him, shot him once, and fled.  Police say the victim could not provide any additional information and there were no known witnesses at the scene.

The victim was taken to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
