Boating Collision Off The Coast of Ocean City

WORCESTER CO., Md. – According to Ocean City Fire Department, two vessels have collided 60 miles off the coast of Ocean City.

The fire department received the call at 1:25 this afternoon. Officials say there was one serious trauma and one patient in critical condition. The individual is being evaluated by Ocean City paramedics.

Ocean City Coast Guard was told to stand down. Two good samaritans took over and provided assistance. Maryland Natural Resource Police are on the scene.
