Police searching for stolen vehicle in Easton

EASTON, Md. – Easton Police are reminding people to be vigilant when leaving their cars attended after a vehicle was stolen. Police say at some point between the hours of 9 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday, a black 2013 Volkswagen Jetty was stolen from the area of Talbot Lane. The vehicle reportedly has Maryland license plates.

The owner told police they remember parking the car Friday night, but when she went back to it Saturday afternoon, it was gone. Police say right now, they don’t have any suspects and do not know where the car is. They’re asking anyone with information to contact Easton Police Department at (410) 822-1111. In the meantime, police are asking the public to remember to turn their vehicles off, remove the keys, and lock the doors.
