Dover man facing gun, gang, and drug charges after probation visit

DOVER, Del. – A Dover man is facing gang, gun, and drug charges after probation officers paid him a visit on Monday. Dover Police say they assisted Delaware Probation and Parole for a home visit at 32-year-old Terrence Davis’ residence. Police say when Davis answered the door, officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the inside.

Probation and Parole officers searched the home, and found a .40 caliber handgun inside the dishwasher, two handgun magazines, 47.3 grams of MDMA, 13.3 grams of marijuana, and two digital scales. Police say Davis and a 27-year-old man who was also inside the home were arrested. The 27-year-old man was released after being given a civil citation of possession of marijuana.

Davis is now facing multiple charges, including possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, three counts of possession of firearm and/or ammunition by a person prohibited, possession of MDMA, possession with intent to deliver MDMA, possession of marijuana, illegal gang participation, and drug paraphernalia. Davis was taken to Sussex Correctional Institution on $193,200 cash bond.
