Checking out the petting zoo at the fair

HARRINGTON, Del. – If you ask the kids, one of the biggest attractions at the Delaware State Fair is the petting zoo.

At the Giraffe Menagerie Petting Zoo, there’s something for everyone – Twiggs the Giraffe, zebras, donkeys, llamas, camels, goats, and more.

Some of the kids at the fair say their personal favorites were the goats and Twiggs the Giraffe. They say they come back almost every year, and always make sure to stop by the petting zoo.

The petting zoo isn’t just about petting through, as visitors can also feed the animals.

The petting zoo is open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
